More Credits Granted to Astara's Tourism Industry

The tourism project of the region comprises reconstruction of the seaside, beach parks, tourist village of Estil Lagoon, and Sadaf leisure center.

About 16 to 25 percent of Iranian and foreign tourists travel to Gilan Province through Astara every year. The figure was over 225,000 foreign tourists visiting the area last year.

Thousands of tourists visit Estil Lagoon in the region every year for a taste of its still water and identical landscapes in the surrounding areas. The new scheme is likely to create furhter job opportunities locally.
